Gap year for grown-ups: Some workers taking a mid-career time out
Tue Feb 4, 2014
In reply to: DMF1973 #7 I think the negative comments/feelings are because doing something like this is so out of reach for the vast majority of people. Sure it sounds great, and yes I would love to do something like this, but then how would the mortgage get paid? And food put on t …
Everybody panic! The Twitter redesign is here
Mon Feb 3, 2014
This is nothing compared to the NBC News website redesign! Hate the new look/design of the website!!!! I don't want childish looking huge tiles/pictures, or flashy "stories," or a quasi-social media hub. I want news!!!! No longer coming to nbcnews.com, as apparently they are …

Those, and the Radio Shack ad, and the Doritos ad. The rest were awful.

Millennials hit 30: It's the economy, not us

The only thing that is ridiculous about this story is the idea that it is somehow health issues, or economic issues, or even worse the school's fault if a child can't read on grade level. How about the parents? It all starts at home.
Many questions linger in deadly Maryland mall shooting
Mon Jan 27, 2014
These days it seems like nobody has any coping skills. Something happens that upsets them, or somebody says something that hurts their feelings, or something doesn't go their way, and instead of dealing with it like a rational human being, they do things like this instead. No known relationship between Maryland mall shooter, victims: cops
Sun Jan 26, 2014
While I don't agree with your exact comment Ken, there is a grain of truth in there somewhere: coping skills. These days it seems like nobody has any coping skills.
Facebook like an infectious disease, will lose 80 percent of users, says Princeton study
Wed Jan 22, 2014
Jeanmarie: you do know they could still email you pictures, news, updates, etc, right? They could also call you, or mail you a card. It's not like Facebook is the only way to find out what people are up to & doing.
